    I used this letter with the other documents I compiled to appeal for my critical skills visa permit within seven working days of my initial visa application being rejected. The appeal took approximately eight months and by mid-October the outcome from the DHA was still not finalised.

The manager for the critical-skills section emailed stating that they had received my email and would let me know about the outcome of my appeal as soon as possible.
